The election that took place March 16-30, 2020 resulted in an undetermined representative because not enough people cast a vote. So, we have been informed by PERC that there will be a runoff election. We await further instructions from them which we will post here as soon as we receive it.

Here is the timeline sent from PERC – please read the email for yourself. Note the addition of Judith Rivlin’s name to the notification. She is general counsel for AFSCME International and is not a party to this State of Washington representation case.

Notices will be mailed on April 9, 2020.
The ballots will be mailed by PERC to the employee’s home address on April 23, 2020.
Ballots will be due at PERC by May 12, 2020.
The ballots will be counted at 9:00 am on May 13, 2020.
